To help rehabilitees with the love from Jesus, and to provide holistic healing in body, mind and soul by virtue of the strength of the Gospel, so that they will become Jesus’ followers. At the same time to develop their talents and promote team spirit through proper management and activity programmes, so that they will care not only for themselves but also for the community, as a way of showing their faith in God.


  1. Male & female drug-dependent persons, alcoholics, and addicted smokers;
  2. No age limits;
  3. Willing to receive gospel treatment in a boarding facility, and to learn to acquire Christian faith;
  4. Deemed suitable for such treatment according to body check and overall evaluation.
  5. Holders of valid Hong Kong Identity Card, and with the right of abode in Hong Kong.

  3. Applicants may also be referred to us by social workers or probation officers through pre-arranged visits and interviews. Applications will be considered for acceptance after evaluation. Applicants who are endorsed by hospitals or probation officers or are otherwise homeless may be granted priority processing according to actual situations.


  1. A month deposit should be paid. The deposit will be returned after one year treatment.
  2. The deposit and monthly boarding fees based on the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) Scheme.
  3. We offer assistance to apply for financial aid for those in need.


  1. Raising funds for operation and gathering other resources.
  2. Organizing the Friends Of Operation Dawn (F.O.O.D.) volunteers to service our students.
  3. Publicizing and promoting drug prevention education as well as gospel drug addiction treatment.
  4. Liaising and cooperating with the relevant government departments and other organizations.
  5. Monitoring and assisting the administration and operation of all Centres.
  6. Serving as the venue for classes conducted by Dawn Bible Training Centre, which offers training to our staff and graduated students.
  7. Processing referred cases and individual applications and arranging admission to different Centres.
  8. Arranging out-reaching services including visits to Methadone centres and detention centres to interview addicts.
  9. Collaborating with the Beautiful Gate Baptist Church as our partner to provide a platform for reconciliation between our students and their families, whereby we can support the family members before the students’ graduation, and encourage them to extend their church life and grow in their spiritual life even after graduation.
  10. Serving as the venue for graduated students’ weekly fellowship gatherings.
