Mrs. Mamre Lilian Yeh retired on September 1, 2022, and Mrs. Flora Yuen took over the post of General Secretary on the same day.

• 本會贊助人鄺保羅大主教於去年2020年12月榮休。本會邀請陳謳明大主教，由2021年1月1日起擔任本會贊助人。

• 2019年11月9日本會總幹事葉陳幔利女士，獲香港特別行政局頒發榮譽勳章，以示嘉許葉太對香港的戒毒治療及康復服務和禁毒預防教育貢獻良多。

• To put further effort in anti-drug campaign, Dawn Life Education Centre was set up this year, and the official Opening Ceremony was held on November 3. We renovated our old dormitory houses on Dawn Island and converted them into our activity areas. We hold programmes and sharing sessions for visitors to raise their awareness of the hazard of addictions and encourage positive attitudes towards life.

• Celebrating the golden jubilee of Operation Dawn under God's loving grace and guidance, Operation Dawn Gospel Drug Rehab 50th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service was held on April 22. The Most Reverend Paul Kwong, Archbishop and Primate of Hong Kong, was invited to be our preacher, and Ms. Manda Chan Win-man, Commissioner for Narcotics, was our speaker at the Service. Thanksgiving dinner was held on the same night, during which food and treasured memories were gratefully shared among our guests and friends. Also, we published the photo album Operation Dawn: 50 Years of Gospel Rehabilitation in Photos to tell the story and precious moments of Operation Dawn in pictures.
• In May we erected one more huge cross on the hill top near our foodball pitch on Dawn Island. The hill, now named Calvary, is taller than Mount Cross, so you can have an even better view over the island from there.
• We held our Flag Day (for Kowloon region) on June 16, and had recuited more than 1,900 volunteers to join our flag sale activity.

• On March 19, a crew from TVB (assigned by Home Affairs Bureau) visited our social enterprise Morning Star Motorcycle Limited for the making of their TV programme "SE Newbies On The Go". The episode, aired in May this year, explored how our motorcycle social enterprise business helped our graduates to adapt to the society.
• 2 graduates, led by our General Secretary, went on a short term mission to San Francisco, U.S. from April 27 to May 9, sharing testimonials and messages as they traveled along.
• On May 16, Social Welfare Department officially issued us a permanent license to operate Dawn Island Gospel Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre. All students on the Island moved in to the new residential buildings (namely, Carmel House and Living Spring House) on the same day.
• 2017年6月5日舉行新宿舍大樓開幕典禮，邀得時任保安局局長黎楝國先生、時任保安局常任秘書長羅智光先生、禁毒專員陳詠雯女士等嘉賓蒞臨剪綵。新宿舍大樓獲禁毒處5千萬港元的資助，而晨曦會自籌 1千3百多萬港元。新宿舍大樓建立費用共6千3百多萬港元。
• Apple Daily published the coverage of Operation Dawn on two consecutive days, July 4 & 5, which featured an interview of our General Secretary Mrs Lilian Yeh about her experience and struggle in the ministry of gospel rehabilitation, as well as the life testimonies of our student and staff member.
